Meet the Chefs: Kevin McElkenny & Nate Crouse

 

They are food fanatics. Passionate and inspiring. The dynamic duo, Nate Crouse (left) and Kevin McElkenny, of the Village Tavern Restaurant & Inn use their creative ability and love of food as the main ingredients for success. They are as competitive in the kitchen as they are on the golf course. They both search for the freshest products, often seasonal and local to deliver the “wow” factor that goes out on each plate.

 

Both local, they grew up learning to cook at home. Nate spent years in Florida at a high volume family operated restaurant where he excelled at preparing fresh fish with the finest ingredients.  Kevin has corporate restaurant background and he once described a plate as the canvas for culinary masterpieces.  They are both truly gifted and have a serious love of food that they share with every customer.
