Meet the Chef: Joe Rotsell
Joe Rotsell is a Corning native. He attended the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone in Napa, CA, specializing in Mediterranean Cuisine. Over the years, Joe has been the Executive Chef for a Fortune 500 Company and a city club.
More recently he has been working with the experienced and successful owners of the Gaffer Grille, David and Karin Fice, who have now created the Luna Mezza Grille, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant in Hammondsport, NY. Joe is the kitchen manager and head chef at both locations.
Joe has always enjoyed artwork and is an accomplished glassblower. He has incorporated this art into his culinary field with beautiful ice sculpting and fantastic food garnishes.
